Análise Estatística da camada seca de pintura: o caso da empresa industrial Nova JVA

Abstract

Resumo: Esta pesquisa teve por objetivo analisar os níveis de variabilidade da camada seca de pintura em estruturas metálicas, produzidas pela empresa Nova JVA. Esta análise do processo é fundamental para diagnosticar e auxiliar a empresa na identificação e quantificação das possíveis perdas neste processo produtivo. As ferramentas da qualidade utilizadas são de extrema importância, pois através destas passa-se a obter resultados notáveis e melhorias na qualidade e confiabilidade dos produtos e serviços. As ferramentas estatísticas utilizadas neste estudo de caso foram à folha de verificação, o histograma e a carta de controle. Quanto às medidas estatísticas, foram utilizadas à média aritmética, o desvio padrão e o coeficiente de variação. O instrumento de medição utilizado para a coleta de dados da camada seca de tinta das estruturas metálicas foi o Elcometer 456 que é o equipamento mais indicado para este tipo de medição, pois é um medidor magnético e a leitura da espessura é feita diretamente na escala do aparelho. O resultado desta pesquisa se deu através da análise das medições da camada seca de tinta realizada na empresa estudada no período de janeiro a julho de 2009, sendo que a estratificação das medições também foi realizada por obras, totalizando neste período doze obras. Os resultados estão descritos no capítulo 4 onde se pode verificar que a camada seca de pintura apresenta média e alta variabilidade bem como o processo está fora de controle estatístico. No capítulo 5 apresentam-se as conclusões.

Abstract: This study had the objective to analyze the levels of the painting dry coat variability in steel structures which are produced by the company ‘Nova JVA’. This analysis of the process is basic to diagnose and to assist the company in the identification and quantification of the possible losses in this productive process. The used quality tools are so important, because through them, it becomes possible to obtain notable results and improvements in the quality and reliability of the products and services. The quality tools used in this case study were the checking list, the histogram and the control chart. Regarding to the statistical measures, it was used the mean, standard deviation and the coefficient of variation. The instrument of measurement used for the data collection of steel structures painting dry coat was the Elcometer 456 that is the most indicated equipment for this type of measurement, since it is a magnetic meter and the thickness reading is done straightly in the scale of the appliance. The result of this study happened through the analysis of the measurements of the painting dry coat carried out in the studied company in the period from January to July/2009, where the stratification of the measurements also was carried out by works, totalizing in this period twelve works. The results were presented on the chapter four and the conclusions ware presented on the the chapter 5.
