Abstract

Hablar de la historia de Colombia durante el siglo XIX, sin hacer referencia obligada al Doctor Rafael Wenceslao Núñez Moledo, es imposible. Núñez Moledo abogado, estadista, militar, poeta y periodista, es uno de los personajes más importantes de la historia colombiana. Su legado más importante fue la concepción de la Constitución de 1886. La influencia del pensamiento europeo, concretamente la filosofía inglesa y el positivismo en la estructuración del pensamiento de Rafael Núñez es notoria. Rafael Núñez tuvo como influencias en su formación intelectual el pensamiento político inglés de Herbert Spencer, John Stuart Mill, Jeremías Bentham y Tracy.

Abstract: To approach the history of Colombia during the 19th century, without doing reference obliged to the Doctor Raphael Wenceslao Núñez Moledo, it is impossible. Núñez Moledo is one of the most important prominent figures of the Colombian history, attorney, statesman, military man, poet and journalist. His more important legacy was the conception of the Constitution of 1886. The influence of the European thought, concretly the English philosophy and the positivism in the structure of Rafael Núñez’s thought is well-known.
