La gramática al tablero: ejercicios de Gramática en los manuales escolares de Básica Secundaria

Abstract

Se sintetiza la investigación titulada “Análisis crítico de ejercicios usados para enseñar gramática en los manuales escolares de básica secundaria” (Universidad Tecnológica de Pereira, 2011), que conformó y revisó un corpus de ejercicios de gramática de cinco series editoriales vigentes en Colombia, correlacionando las variables de escuela gramatical, enfoque teórico, categoría de ejercicios y temas enseñados. El análisis crítico permitió dilucidar que la predominancia de la escuela lingüístico-estructuralista de perspectiva sistémica explica la reiterada inclusión de ejercicios de identificación y clasificación oracional, desde una visión taxonómico-mecanicista de la gramática y, por tanto, marcadamente desarticulada y compartimentada en temas, unidades y problemas teóricos de la lengua, escindidos de su uso real y de las necesidades comunicativas de sus hablantes.

Abstract: This paper synthesizes the investigation called “critical Analysis of exercises used to teach grammar in the school manuals of basic secondary” (Pereira’s Technological University, 2011), that shaped and checked a corpus of grammar’s exercises of five textbooks’ series press in Colombia, correlating the variables of grammatical school, theoretical approach, category of exercises and taught topics. The critical analysis allowed to explain that the predominance of the structural lingüistics of systemic perspective explains the repeated incorporation of identification’s exercises and classification of sentences, from a vision taxonomic and mechanistic of the grammar and, therefore, separated in topics, units and theoretical problems of the language, split of his real use and of the communicative needs of his speakers. About the results, there are discussed both the reasons and the implications of an education of the grammar centred on the structure and split of the use, confirming it with the alternative of a grammar of discursive base for the middle school.
