Pluralismo cultural y derechos humanos: la crítica intercultural

Abstract

Este artículo de reflexión analiza el problema que supone conciliar la justicia e igualdad entre culturas con el respeto por los derechos humanos, partiendo del debate entre multiculturalismo e interculturalismo. Primero, reconstruye ambos enfoques. Segundo, problematiza sus límites y posibilidades para dar respuesta al problema planteado. Finalmente, formula un argumento normativo en defensa del interculturalismo basado en el diálogo entre culturas y la hermenéutica diatópica.

Abstract: This reflective article analyzes the problem that rises when harmonizing the justice and equality among cultures with the respect for the human rights, departing from the debate between multiculturalism and interculturalism. First, it reconstructs both approaches. Second, describes its limits and possibilities for giving response to the raised problem. Finally, it formulates a normative argument in defense of the interculturalism based on the dialog among cultures and the diatopic hermeneutics.
